Matric Bootcamp 2026: Unlocking Potential and Striving for Excellence

Making every learning opportunity count

Learners were encouraged to take an active role in the bootcamp: ask questions, tackle difficult work and learn from mistakes. The message recognised the resilience and growth of the Matric Class of 2026 and urged learners to approach their next steps with confidence and determination.

The school’s motto, “Strive for Excellence”, remains central to this effort. The speech emphasised that excellence is found not only in marks and awards, but also in consistent effort, integrity and the courage to persevere.

A community behind our learners

The school extends its sincere appreciation to its partners and sponsors, including the Sunni African Ulama Council, and to Ms Hlatshwayo and her dedicated team for their work in making the bootcamp possible.

Thank you to our teachers for their commitment to teaching and supporting learners, and to parents and guardians for their sacrifices, encouragement and continued involvement. We also acknowledge Principal Mr BW Nguse, the School Governing Body and the School Management Team for their support.

Working towards our 2026 target

The bootcamp forms part of the school’s broader academic support, alongside extra classes for Grades 10 to 12. Together, these initiatives provide additional opportunities for learners to strengthen their understanding and prepare for their examinations.

To the Class of 2026: bring your energy, curiosity and determination. Make the most of the support around you, and carry the spirit of Sivananda into every challenge ahead.
